Today in I.T. we have been working on our Gym, Spanish, Computer, Math, S.S., L.A., Science and I.T. blogs, making sure we have the navbar gone, the comments moderated. Mr. Kelley is talking about how you upload images to your blog.

Checking our work

Today in I.T. we are working on checking our blogs, making sure we have everything there.

Polls

We are making polls for our blogs in I.T. class. Mr. Kelley is showing us Google how to add pictures, and how to add elements.

Thumbdrives

Today in I.T. we are working on Thumb drives. Thumb drives are a way to upload pictures. Mr. Kelley is explaining to us where to put the folder, and how to carefully remove it.

November 8, I.T. Reward

Today in I.T., we got a reward for being good for last weeks substitute. We are doing last minute checking our laptops, and making sure we are getting in at least one entry in per week. Mr.
Kelley is telling us how to moderate comments.

This week in I.T.

This week in I.T., we worked on making sure our blogs were all set. We also worked on posting comments to one of our friends blog's. Mr. Kelley is checking our work, and he tells us what we need.

Classes

September 28, 2007

Math
In math class we are learning equations, and graphs and tables. Tomorrow we have a test, and the word problem is due this coming Wednesday. Today in math, since we all have our class work done, we can rather catch up on old work, do our work due tomorrow, read, or use the computer. I hope i do well on the test!

Science
In Science we have been doing projects, projects, and more projects! during the first week of school, for homework we had to do fifteen descriptions for a tree. It was kinda fun doing the outdoor descriptions project. Tomorrow my Science project on Benjamin Franklin is due, but I already finished it and passed it in. Now we are working on another project, measuring 5 by five meters.

Social Studies

In Social Studies we are working on geography. We recently made maps and located towns, rivers, map legend, key, scale, compose rose, and lakes. We are also working on Historical Fiction. For my project, I did The Ballad of Lucy Whipple, by Karen Cushman. It's about a girl who travels to California with her family to seek a fortune, and she is completely miserable. She thinks she wants to go home, but in the end she discovers that California is home. My teachers son came in and he talked about Moses Greenleaf, and how he drew the Maine map. Moses was born in Newburyport, MA and when he was about 13 he and his family moved to New Glousecter, ME. Then, as Moses grew older he moved to Williamsburg. Moses was a land agent, store keeper, president of a railroad, went to meetings, married a woman named Perses Poor, and had 5 children. They were very interesting classes.
